hello all! im so confused..i've been looking at many of the threads, but i'm not even sure where to start. i will be moving to the sunshine state next year when my job transfers to st petersburg (bay pines). where should i begin looking?

im ~30 yo single mother with a 3 year old son; his education is very important to me. currently he is in private school and i would like to continue that when i move. the nightlife isnt really important to me at all, i would like to live nearby a beach of some sort and i do not want more than a 30 minute commute to my job. i would also prefer my son's school be closer to our home instead of my job. any suggestions??? PLEASE HELP

You could check out areas in Seminole and western St. Pete. Both areas are pretty close to Bay Pines. Seminole has some pretty good public schools, if that matters. I don't know anything about private schools, but you should be able to find some in that area. That area is close to the beach. Maybe not for walking, but only a few minutes' drive.

Seminole, but if you are going private for schools, you can move farther afield. There is a good montessori school in Largo, just south of Walsingham Road - Country Day - you can live in Seminole or unincorporated Largo, and easily get to Bay Pines in fifteen twenty. Seminole/Largo has nice homes, is close to beach, is safe and neighborly and I am sure you would like it. Good luck to you
