2-If a person is walking through your neighborhood with their dog, and the dog walks a few feet into your yard, takes a poo which is then cleaned up by its owner, then there is nothing wrong with that.

That should end this rather weird thread.
Thank you so much for YOUR OPINION which, because it came from You, Obviously Trumps Everybody else s.

Yeah, what's-up-with-that?

What if some of us want to continue talking about dogs owners letting their pets crap in neighbor's yards?

Get this..there are some in my subD that don't even clean their dogs crap unless they see one of us out (at least that's how it appears to me) and it is very annoying, disrespectful. I can't be there watching on all the time when they walk their dog.

I know the feeling. Here in my little cul de sac in Ohio we have a couple who walk their dogs and allow the chain to run clear out so the dogs can come clear up in my yard close to my house to do their business.

Then they walk off like nothing happens. We got sick of it and finally the DH asked them nicely to not walk their dog in our yard and the couple got nasty and said they cannot control when their dog has to go.

We are not allowed to post signs in our yard so now the DH goes out and walks the driveway when the couple does their daily 6:30 run of their dog.

Ridiculous you have to do this to keep stupid people from trespassing on your property.

Flat out stupid and rude for people not to have respect for other peoples property.

It is not a Tampa thing, it is a rude stupid people thing.

Pulling your gun on somebody and his dog in your suburban front yard? Yeah, okay.

I'm considering moving to Tampa and I would like to know if this mentality is the norm? Do people really get upset if someone or their pet happens to take a step off the sidewalk and walks a few inches onto their lawn? I'm not talking traipsing all over their front lawn, or not cleaning up after their pets. I'm just curious if things like stepping onto one's lawn really angers a lot of people in the Tampa area or if this is just a few people ranting online?

Yes, you are right I said a few inches and she said several feet. What does several feet mean to people, 3 or 8 feet? I'm not trying to debate just understand at what length do people get upset when "trespassers" come onto their lawns. I do understand that if someone is coming up onto the middle of my lawn every day that would be annoying.

I'm trying to get a feel for the culture that's all.
