We are in our 60's & lookiing for a retirement condo in the Clearwater Beach area. We just saw the ad for an auction of 25 units in the Station Square Bldg in Clearwater (we know it's not Clearwater Beach). We've never bid on an auction property before so this is all new to us.

Does anyone know anything about the Station Square Development that might help us in deciding if we should bother to drive there from Sarasota to check it out?

We appreciate any information you can provide.

They always start low (to attract people), but will not sell until the developer or whomever is auctioning them off is reaching their target bottom price. I photographed a building in St Pete in this situation and that's what they told me. If it has a low price (too good to be true) is generally to create foot traffic/create multiple offer situation.
