I'm looking for a new hair stylist in the St. Pete area who can give me a nice modern hairstyle. I do not want to go to a barber shop as I have had bad experiences with old men cutting my hair.

I'm 21 so I want something up to date. I have an open canvas to work with as my hair has gotten very long. I want a stylist that has enough creative vision to give me a haircut that looks good without me instructing them what I want. I don't know a whole lot about hair so how would I know exactly what would look good on me?

I would like it to cost at or under 20 bucks, as I usually give a 5 dollar tip.

I go to Aveda on 66th N in St. Pete and my stylist is fabulous. I've seen him do a great job on both men and women. I can PM you his name if you'd like.

As far as price, I don't know what it costs for a men's haircut. I pay $40 for mine, plus tip, but men always pay less, in my experience. I don't know if you'll find anything at a salon for less than $20, though, honestly.

Darn! I knew I was in the wrong field.

I do my own haircut as I do the 1/4" short cut all around once to twice a week depending on season.

Yeah I'm fine paying 20 dollars I don't really need to pay less than that. Could you PM me the name? I'll google the phone number and ask them how much a men's haircut is.

My husband cuts our sons' hair and does a good job. That's the way to go if you can do it!

I spend waaaay too much at the salon, it's so expensive. I was there recently and forked over $175 (Don't tell my husband )

my stylist charges me $25, and is located in Tampa. I get my hair cut every other week. He is pretty unique, he does some pretty regular cuts to some pretty creative stuff and prides himself on his creativity. He also has developed his own products. Let me know if you are interested i'll PM you his info. He has a site you can check out and even make appointments online.

Shave your head and pump iron. You'll save time and money and the females love it.
