Makers of Hand Rolled Cigars (Tampa: home, buy, prices)

I understand there are a few outfits making hand rolled cigars in Tampa. I'll be in town next week; any recommendations?

The only factory left is J.C. Newman, but there are a few stores down in Ybor City where you can watch the guys roll cigars. They sell them there, too, obviously. I don't remember any names, but just walk along 7th Avenue and you'll see them in the front window.

Not in Ibor City, but in a more convenient spot , this is a good place to see them rolling and buy them.

I am here to collect information about the little cigars. The rolled cigars information is good here. But please do share some best companies that provide little cigars.

My sister came down to visit me last year. Her friend asked her to bring back some cigars from Tampa. We strolled around Ybor City. My advise is to shop around a little bit while down there. She bought from the first store she saw. We later stopped by another shop that was cheaper.

aldenjones, I am sure if you ask any shop to make little cigars, they will do that for you.

The Newman factory is still around. Your best bet for a great cigar is to visit Tampa Sweethearts in Ybor. It is the home of Arturo Fuente cigars and they sell from the premises at prices well below retail. The boutiques where they still hand roll cigars are few and far between, and to be honest the quality doesnt compare to the Newman and Fuente offerings.
