I would really appreciate your help!
I am a single, 39 year old female from Canada who is planning on spending 8 weeks by myself at the beach this summer.
I am looking at small efficiencies - one is advertised as being in Treasure Island, the other in John's Pass. Are these the same location? Ideally I'd like to wake up, walk on the beach, go to a yoga class, hit a driving range, and have a drink or dinner somewhere and work on writing a book. Can someone recommend specific places? A gym or driving range perhaps? Is this kind of day even possible in Treasure Island or John's Pass or would I have to be driving all over the city to do these kinds of activities?
I'm looking for a safe, friendly location and perhaps some kind of social life too! I wouldn't mind a summer romance...
Any suggestions for things to do or places to hang our where I won't look crazy by myself? Or is this a crazy idea???

Johns Pass is a lively little place and is at the southern end of Madeira Beach, Treasure island is a short walk over the pass (Johns Pass)
you'll have ample beach to walk in either area however you will have to cross the bridge at Johns Pass.
A quick Google comes up with a driving range on Treasure island, looks to be about a 20 minute walk from Johns Pass

Ooops just noticed it doesnt have a driving range, but at $8 for playing why not just join a group and play a round..

Anyone else have any ideas for things to do every day? Yoga studios or places to hang out and meet people? This is the vacation of a lifetime for me....I hope it is everything I am hoping for!

If you are going to be there 8 weeks i'd say Google will show you where everything is just focus on these communities remembering you'll be at the southern end of Madeira beach.If you dont have a car then buses run up and down the entire beach area..
