Hi. I'm looking for a rental home via the internet in the Dunedin area. (I have some family north of Pinellas that are willing to look at houses for me.) I am finding several houses in my price range on Roanoke street east of Milwaukee Ave but I've read on this forum that some places around there are sketchy. Does anyone have info on the safety of this area? I have a five year old daughter and will be using the public schools. I'd prefer the causeway area but I'm not finding much other than vacation rentals around there. Thank you for any info you have!

Do you mind telling your price range? There are nice neighborhoods off Curlew road and CR1 that would keep you close to the causeway. Waterford Crossing and Countrywoods being two nice ones where homes are about 250,000 and up.I'm sure in this market you could find some less expensive near there. It's just I have first hand knowledge of those two!

Thanks for your response. I"d like to pay around $1000 for a 2/2 but I'm starting to think that's not practical. I'd go up to $1300 or so for the right house.

We are moving to dunedin next month. We are looking for 2 bd house n its really hard to decide the area without seeing the place physically. We are moving to dunedin from New york. Can anyone guide me?? How is highland ave in dunedin?? And lombardy drive in clearwater??
