77 degrees, usually. 80 when I leave the house for awhile. My place relatively new, so I think it holds the AC better than older places.

Where are the hardcore Floridians who don't even run the air?

Obviously people who don't have the means go through the summer without it, but does anybody else here keep it off for the most part? I'm a middle class guy and I go without it as much as possible. Fans in the window at night > sky high electric bills IMO, but I will have no choice soon when it's 80 and muggy at night.

I'm like that. I can understand how some people can't handle the humidity, but it's surprising how much a few open windows and house fans can easily minimalize it.

I run my AC 24/7 and my bills arent sky high. After being in FL nearly a year, we've kept it between 76 and 80 (80 in summer, 76 in winter). 2k sq foot house, our winter bills got as low as 75 dollars. In the summer the highest we hit was 145 i think.

So you only enjoy two months out of the year? How depressing.

That's correct. I get constant migraines in the heat. Some people love it, I don't. It is just hot here alll the time to me. Looking to move!
