Mapquest says 40 minutes which is fine for us but can anyone shed some light on the reality. We really want to be in Palm Harbor but might have to reconsider. The bright side is my wife will be working 7pm-7am, not sure if she will hit a lot of traffic from 6pm-7pm before her shift.

Thanks all! 3 and a half weeks before our move and all is set except for living place. We head down the 13-15 for appointments to various condo/apartments.

Will be looking at Lansbrook Village, Sabal palms, Stonegate, Landings at Boot Ranch, The Bentley at Cobbs,Parkcrest at Inisbrook and we will check out Bayside arbors even though it is in Clearwater.

I have friends who live at one of the condos at boot ranch and at one time I recommended it in a previous thread because they were happy there, but just the other day, she told me they are seriously considering moving because of problems with large families moving into small apts.

What is considered large? 3 bedroom apartment should accomidate a family of 4 with no problem but if this is a family of 6 or more then i can see there being an issue.

Her comment was 3-5 not very well supervised children in 2br's.
The quality of environment has gone down since, according to her, they are now renting section 8 housing in some of the buildings

Thanks for elaborating. Section 8 for apartments that expensive? Thanks I will look into it.

3 should be fine in a 2 bedroom assuming father, mother and child.

Yes, that would be fine, so would 4, but she's talking about 3 or more children in a 2 br apt.

Stevo- Wife will be going in the opposite direction of the traffic, which makes it nice.
On the other hand Section 8 in Lansbrook....makes it kind of iffy. You should inquire into this.

In reading the title only of your post I'd suggest not doing it. While the East Lake area is nice, the commute will be far too long for any quality time left for your family. JMHO.
