I have a house in Tampa that I'm trying to furnish and don't know where the good deals are. Other than Craigslist and Goodwill type places, what do you suggest? I need everything from furniture to linens to glassware etc and don't mind used. Is there a JC Penny Outlet here? Thank you and I appreciate your help!

The Missing Piece - Fine Interiors on Consignment

This shop and other consignment shops (search for them via google) are out there.

If you want good deals on linen and glassware, plates, etc....the BELLS Outlet and Bells (with coupons) are good places to start. Bells reduces prices up to 82% on stuff - I've gotten some good deals on dishes when I set up my place.

The Goodwill places are very good here in Tampa and all over the place.
Goodwill Industries - Suncoast Inc.

If you don't mind traveling a little south of Tampa to Sun City Center there's a second hand shop that's open on Saturdays 8-12. It is located in Sun City Center Plaza (actually behind it). Elderly people getting rid of their dishes, pots/pans. Good deals.

You can also check out Oldsmar Flea Market. They used to have a furniture store and sell all types of stuff.

IKEA (located near downtown Tampa off of Selman Xpressway) has some cheap stuff, too.
