It's not a bad area at all. I grew up in this area, and my dad's last house before he passed away was just two blocks from there. It's a real convenient location, too.

Yep, it's a pretty tame place. Largely a working-class Hispanic and black neighborhood, but fairly quiet outside of football game days. My aunt lived nearby on Aileen Street and she never had a problem.

Those are really nice condos although older. The one I visited was a good size. You are right on the river too. I lived not too far from there once upon a time and it is so nice to sit outside by the river.
There is a good restaurants off of Columbus called 'Rick's' on the river too. I agree the area is mostly hispanic but you have so many little places to go around that area.

It looks like a pretty good location and price, but please verify the monthly fees - HOLY COW!!! Also, you didn't say about how you're planning to pay, but financing anything below $100K these days is really difficult, especially condos in Florida.

Its not a bad area like the other said, its just like 99% spanish (not that its a bad thing)
