I'm interested in hearing feedback on Sprint's service in the Tampa Palms area. I'm currently with T-Mobile and while the speeds are fast here the 5GB limit restricts my ability to use the speeds. Not to mention the AT&T merger concerns.

For reference, I was getting about 2-3MB/s downloads on 3G with T-mobile.

Thanks!

I have had no issues in Tampa with Sprint service and have had sprint for 5 years. I can tell you that AT&T is crappy..anyone that I talk to with AT&T, clarity sucks and alot of dropped calls. In this area Sprint is the best provider and cheaper than verizon. I have a 4G phone, but as you know it depends on what area you are in for the 4G to kick in.

I went from Verizon (2007) to AT&T (2009) to T-Mobile in June this year. Where I am in Carrollwood, AT&T is the fastest and has the best reception. The Sprint Maps are not good near my house. When I traveled, Verizon had the best reception. T-Mobile is mediocre at best and if they didn't allow data and voice over WIFI, I'd dump it and pay the cancellation fee. If I could use the AT&T towers and pay my cheap TMO bill, I'd be a happy camper! My next door neighbor recently dropped his Sprint for MetroPCS . I don't think we (the little people) will ever win over the corporate telecom giants anyway but we can keep trying.

Boost is not a true provider, they use other carriers service, usually sprint or Verizon. Same with Tracfone, MetroPCS, etc...

Verizon is the best carrier in Florida, followed by Sprint, T-Mobile and a distant 4th is AT&T.

I use Verizon, used to use Alltel.
