Yes, I just saw that here:

Hall of Fame defensive end Lee Roy Selmon hospitalized - ESPN

Best recovery wishes to him, he was a dominant player and is a good man too from what I've ever heard about him.

When I saw the title, the first thing I thought was that the elevated lanes on the Crosstown collapsed again. Whoops.

The first hour media reported that he died based on a press release by his restaurant.

Lee Roy Selmon has been a great human being and an important figure in the TB community since he was drafted by the Bucs in mid-70s.

Thankfully he's breathing on his own (not on a ventilator) and responsive. Strokes cause all kinds of problems from being in a complete vegetative state to problems talking, walking, eating - to minor problems. I hope he's able to recover as completely as possible. As a nurse, I've seen some miraculous recoveries of stroke patients who initially looked like lost causes.

Good luck Mr Selmon -our prayers are with you.
