Miami is hotter and more humid, but not by much.
You will sweat here.
A LOT...

I think Miami is easier to handle sometimes because there is more of a breeze. Either way I can easily lose a couple of pounds going to get the mail and back. =)

Do some research on Florida weather, take a vacation to your intended locations in August. From June to October Temperatures are going to be in the high 80's to mid 90's with much humidity. if heat and humidity for long periods of time are not your thing then Florida may not be to your liking.

If the heat bothers you, DO NOT MOVE TO FLORIDA, we will then hear the same whining from you that we do now from so many other posters.

You will just love it when we are in a reverse west wind flow for months at a time with lows around 82 and highs around 95.

You can't escape the heat no matter where you live in the US....Thanks to Global Warming.

Just deal with it and get on with your life. There are more important things to worry about; like who has the Best PIZZA!

if you even have to question the summer heat/humidity, it'll be too much for you.

Agreed with the others. If you do not like heat/humidity and do not tolerate it well, you need to look elsewhere.

Saying, "I don't like the heat but am thinking about moving to Florida" is the same as saying "I hate the cold but was wondering if Alaska would be a good fit for me".

Yes, when you live here..... it really does seem like a silly question.

If you "suffer the heat" you won't like it in the Southern portion of the U.S.
Florida would certainly not suit you due to the heat and humidity which is pretty much constant all summer.
