Hi, My husband is being transferred to Riverview. I'm a nurse and will be looking for work. We are looking to rent in the Riverview/Brandon area and would love to hear from ppl re: good apt. communities or any rental possibilities or sites.
Thanks so much in advance!

Try doing a search on Brandon or Riverview. There are lots of threads asking the same question. I would look in Riverview if you are looking for a house to rent or Brandon if you want an apt. There is a hospital in Brandon and there are several hospitals around Tampa including Tampa General and St. Joseph

There are plenty of openings for nurses (RN) at the local hospitals so you should have no problem finding a position. Your best bet for housing would be to check out sites such as forrent.com and apartments.com. You can also try craigslist. Good Luck!

try zillow.com and hotpads.com for rentals as well.

my wife's a cardiac nurse and i can tell you that she found a good job down here (while we were still up in virginia) and had an offer in hand within a couple weeks of searching job sites. there's a pretty severe nursing shortage in tampa bay right now.
