I personally am looking into joining a group of some sort (I like beach, could get into yoga, rollerblading, kayaking **Getting kinda cold for that, etc) and am interested in hooking up with some of the locals to expand my horizon of friends. I've lived here in FL for a while but I'm finally on my feet and ready to get out there and join up with some activities.

LOL -- I need a blading partner really. I'm hoping to find some good winter activities within my age group. The only place I'm not having problems meeting people is in bars but everytime I meet someone all they want to do is have drinks... and yeah.. I'm thinking fishing or doing something that DOESN"T involve drinking.

Not sure what group you looked at but I am sure as long as you are not 18 they will allow you to join.

urgh my work blocked the site for the first one. and I'm really not interested in meeting anyone as far as "the singles groups'" just something to keep me occupied. From what I can tell, there isn't much around my age
