Rats are not limited to Holiday. Some of the more supposed upscale neighborhoods in Tampa are absolutely INFESTED with rats: Davis Island, Seminole Heights, Tampa Heights (not upscale, but still infested), parts of South Tampa and Hyde Park...

They feel safe under a house. Just gas and a match will do the trick until the next one comes along. Lived in Danashore for 41 years and never saw a dillo there. So glad to be back.

Do you have a drinking game going with someone here on C-D that everytime you post Dana Shores they get to take a shot?? If not it's becoming a bit creepy!

I don't drink unless it's free. Just glad to be back were i was born and lived for 41 years. Last 7 years was enough to last 20 lifetimes. One month in Westport i saw more crimes and bums than i did living in Danashores for 41 years.

Are prices in New Port Richey and/or Trinity really 1/2 to 2/3 less than several years ago? I'm hearing that 150K houses in New Port Richey are now prices around 50K. Is this true? If so, is it only due to the bad economy?

Houses are now selling for what they were actually worth all along. So 1/2 to 2/3 is probablly pretty close. They never really were worth what people were paying for them a few years ago.

Code Enforcement and nothing has been done yet. Neigbors are afraid the rats will get into other homes.

When I saw the story I thought of this post on here, that's why I'm commenting.
When the health department comes out to take care of the one house all the neighbors will get a nice surprise.
Where do they think all the rats will go? The health dept isn't going to trap them, they are going to fumigate the house and the rats will head to the next closest homes.
