Hi, im new to FL. Ive lived in brandon for almost 2 months. Havent really met any friends. Im generally a shy person, but love meeting nice people. Any suggestions on how i can meet friends? Im 32 yr old female, single and no kids so im open to all positive suggestions.

Most people here are generally friendly. You might have to initiate conversations, but most are glad to chime in. Try finding a routine hang out - something that you like doing. The gym, Saturdays at Starbucks, football on Sunday afternoons at BWW or Beefs, the park with kids on some afternoon... Something like that.

There are a lot of great 20's and 30's groups on meetup.com in this area. I am active every weekend, all weekend and have met many amazing friends this way.
