Has that area improved or declined in recent years? How about Nebraska/Columbus?

It really hasn't changed at all.

However, there are a number of new empty lots available due to the impact of the Ybor arsonist who burned several dozen vacant homes to the ground.

went to the Ybor cinema a few weeks ago during the day - didn't exactly feel safe and secure when walking from the parking garage to the theater - and this was day time....there's something eerie about the place - not a place I'd visit except during the day. I guess I still recall all the bad stuff that happened there over the years.

Must've just been you. The Centro Ybor area is perfectly safe during the daytime and I find it to be fine at night, too.

Was there yesterday again and stopped in the supermarket store near Centro to grab a drink. Half the store was selling bongs, glass pipes, etc. Noticed several homeless folks and people with purple hair meandering around the main street where the trolley is. Odd place, Ybor is.

There's nothing odd about bongs and glass pipes lol. I bet if you did some investigation, you'd be suprised at how many NORML people in a state like Florida use cannabis either medicinally or as a much safer recreational pastime than alcohol.

Yeah, it appears that Ybor City is drawing drug addicts who prefer synthetic cannabinoids - another crowd that I'd not want to intermingle with.
