Never go to these auto injury places after a car accident...we were told to go there and they took basically all our PIP money shout doing anything...

Back then we had no clue how the system worked over here...now we know and will never set one step in such a place.

I and my wife have 60 years each of safe driving.I also drove 34 years with TELCO,both of us have 100 percent clean driving record,no accidents nor tickets.
I had Allstate for over 20 years, they kept jumping my rate so left for Geico which turned out to be teaser rate.I am back with Allstate, another agent with lower rate than Geico by $60 will see if this is a teaser rate at renewal.I was told our driving record's means nothing,0.
Kind of funny that your credit rating is more important than driving record.I do not and have not used credit in years but according to my credit union I have a score of 800.The insurer's are upset because of credit freeze on trans union which I have not been able to remove. This came about several years ago when Lucent lost data disc and offered free credit freeze.

The real test on how good an insurance company is comes when during claims time.....do you get dropped after a big claim, if it's not your fault. How difficult are the companies to deal with - do they deny claims, etc? I'd hate to sign up w/ a firm that undercuts all others only to find out that they're a ***** to deal with if I get into an accident.

Ha, I have GEICO. I live in Flagstaff, AZ and have the maximum coverage offered except for $100 deductibles versus $0. I pay $94 a month here. I called today for a quote to change it to New Port Richey (Clearwater/Tampa area) and they said $660. That's six hundred sixty. No missing decimal. Going with the bare minimum I would still be at $450. That's still PER MONTH. The best I found was bare minimum with Progressive for $183 a month. Screw that. I know I drive a high end Passat, but come on people.

That's insane. I pay less than $300/month for my policy which covers 3 vehicles and 3 drivers - full coverage on all vehicles - $250 deductible. One of the vehicles is a brand new somewhat high-end SUV, 2012 model year. One of the drivers is my stepson who is early 20's and has an accident or two under his belt.

Ours has been lowering actually. I'm sure it won't continue to, but I just turned 25 this year and my BF did 2 years ago. We also just moved and now own instead of rent, the zip code changed also. Our rate just dropped by almost $40/month this time around.

In PA we paid $70 a month, (420/6 months) when I called the same company to get a quote for 33558 zip code they quoted me $2400 for 6 months! for two, old, paid off vehicles, no offenses of any sort. When we moved from Orlando 32712 zip code to Lutz 33558 my then insurance went up by $250 bucks.

Something is going on in Tampa, and i don't think it has to do with bad drivers, but more so with fraudulent companies. It is not possible that Lutz would have that many bad drivers when this is just a big subdivision, where nobody even goes up to 45 which is the speed limit POSTED, and looks exactly like the one we lived in Orlando.

Considering I've been rear-ended twice in a month since moving here, I have no problem at all whatsoever believing that there are plenty of bad drivers.

In my opinion law enforcement is not enforcing any driving laws around here, hence the bad/un-ticketed drivers running all over texting, shaving and doing pretty much everything BUT driving in their cars!

If more of these offenders would get some serious fines, I think they'd shape up.

Well, in my case the one driver got cited and the other I think is getting license pulled permanently so I can't complain in that regard.
