Tonight ill be downtown for the Lightning/Islanders hockey game(dinner before prob at Hattricks or The Hut).

I know on Friday ill be dining somewhere downtown(prob Malio's or SPAIN), then over to the Forum downtown for the John Mayer concert, then maybe over to Channelside to the new Tavernera Opa for dessert.

And I know ill be at the Grand Opening of the Tampa Museum of Art downtown and Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park Saturday....then over to the Ybor Market and Ybor Art Walk, then dinner out in Ybor, then the Gasparilla Illuminated Night Parade, and some live music to wrap up Saturday.

Ill let you know if I see anyone else...

Just guessing on the prices (Tampaguy, please do not take offense, just having a little fun)...
Lightning/Islanders hockey game decent seats $100
Hattricks dinner a beer & tip $20 pp
Malio's or Spain min $50 pp?
John Mayer concert $150
Cake & coffee at Tavernera Opa $15
Art Museum (didn't know about this, thanx for mentioning) $10
Gas getting here and there $20
Ybor dinner $30
Msl snacks & bottles of water at waterfront, market & art walk $10
Cost of a weekend out in Tampa? 1 monthly payment of a $75,000 mortgage.

Totally do appreciate the special weekend notice, however. Wish I was in town to enjoy it.

Wish you were here...

Hmmm, lets see(again a little fun)
Hockey game($20 tickets - Club Seats - friend works for the Forum - but family 4 packs can be purchased for about $50 and include food and drinks)

Hattricks - yep, about $20pp; Malio's prob $50pp; SPAIN about $20pp

John Mayer concert - tickets bought month ago at FYE in Westshore Mall(avoid the fees) $45pp, sec 206 row A

Dessert at Tavenera Opa- about $15(ill have some baileys in my coffee for sure)

No Gas - I live about 4 miles from downtown in South Tampa....Taxi($3pp from Hyde Park area or a flat $6), the Green Trolley throughout downtown/Harbour Island/Channelside is .25cents)

Ybor Dinner - prob $25-30pp(i like my cocktails with dinner)

Misecellaneous - beers for the parade..$20pp

So thats about $150. IM sure it will be closer to $200, im a big tipper(i used to work in the service industry), and very generous. And like to Have FUN!! Not bad for Thursday through Sunday in downtown. I work hard, I play hard.

If you have no money, then check out the Free Movie on the Lawn Saturday night at Curtis Hixon Park along the Riverfront...or the Free Grand Opening of the Tampa Museum of Art...or the Free Ybor Saturday market where there will be artists/musicians; or the Free Ybor Art Walk...or the Free Gasparialla Night Parade....its cost nothing to take a nice walk along the Riverwalk from Channelside to USF Park near Brorein Streets(passed the Convention Center)..bring your own snacks and water!!

Sounds like a guy who knows how to have a good time. When I make it to Tampa I'll be sending you a DM to hang out. I spent $500 to stay at a hotel in town for a staycation weekend not long ago... cuz there is nothing to do here. Would much rather have done what you are doing.

I heard the Tampa Museum of Art was opening. I would like to go check that out. And if I don't feel like paying to get in, I can just sit out in the new park and watch the light show at night.
