Given 3 choices, where would you rather live?

1.) Ybor City
2.) Northside of Chicago
3.) Center City Philadelphia

Thinking about a move to Ybor City, have lived in the other two places.

I have no idea why Ybor City would even be in the mix. Have you actually been there?

Center City/Philly!
You'll hate Ybor with a passion once you realize what a crack town it is.

Wow having basically lived in all three of your city choices, I think they are very, very different. It definitely depends on what you are looking for. I love Chicago but don't love the northside. I love Tampa but would choose south tampa over Ybor for my age range and lifestyle. Philly is great!

What are you looking for? Do you have a family?

how can you hate center city Philly? I don't know the other 2 but lived in Center City Philly and at the time enjoyed all it had to offer, which is a lot - its only gotten nicer although the crime is up you learn where not to go!...I don't miss the cold though and I grew up in philly burbs...I'm currently in B'ham and hate it...looking to move to Tampa area!

Certain parts of Philly are nice enough but there is enough about it to dislike for me to live there. It's one of those places that can go from nice to warzone in the matter of a block. City Center is nice enough, but it's a nightmare if you have to drive anywhere, and nowhere to park and if you do find somewhere to park, you pay out the a$$. North Chicago has it's bad parts too, probably worse than Ybor actually.

These 3 places are really totally different though.

If you want lovely weather the year round Ybor is the clear winner. If you're looking for other things the other two choices have their merits. Best wishes.

Ybor is significantly smaller than the other two areas, in terms of square miles.

And when you say North Side Chicago, are you referring to Lincoln Park, Wrigleyville, etc? Or far north or what?
