If that was truly the case, you wouldn't be complaining about people not giving you 20% tips.

But when you go ass-backward crazy to make sure a table has perfect service and they leave very happy but only leave 15% tip, that's the issue.
That's the point, it *****SHOULDN'T BE*****, because not everyone is going to tip that way and you shouldn't expect it.

While my husband and I do tip well over 20%-25%-30% when everything is perfect, you can't expect everyone will, so be grateful and quit complaining about ones that do only tip 15%.

You are PROVING you aren't GRATEFUL by complaining they didn't give you 5% more. That's what you are complaining about. You shouldn't be. If they give you 15% when you bent over backwards for them, look at it as they could have left you 10% or 12% or even nothing.

If the total of your tips plus your hourly base rate doesn't equal at least the federal minimum of $7.25 per hour your employer must make up the difference.

Then WHY are you complaining about people not tipping enough when they tip 15%, huh? WHY COMPLAIN IF YOU ARE GRATEFUL? That would mean you would be HAPPY with the 15% instead of bitching about it on here.

Nobody complains that's grateful. It's like one year at my previous job, things were bad, so we all got less(I got $100 less). I was GRATEFUL I got something. You on the other hand act like it's OWED. Tips are Voluntary. No one has to tip you. Be grateful it's not 10% or less instead of complaining about that they didn't leave you another 5%.

As a person who has supported myself on tips for many years I am well aware of why I am tipped.I don't consider it a problem-just a fact. I was merely pointing out that all the hours of a shift need to be included in figuring how much someone makes an hour when not all the hours worked are a tipping situation.
I have no problem with what I make-not at all! It is pretty damn good.
