I just moved here with my husband and kids back in May 2011. Just wanted to connect with others that may have moved here from another state.

Hi. I just received a job offer in NPR and may be moving down in June. I'm excited and nervous.

Generally the better areas are closer to I-75 and away from US-19

I reckon its less than 15 miles to the interstate from US-19 and the houses out that way are much newer and the communities much safer.Just my opinion if you want general advice on where to live in the NPR/Pasco county area.

You are right and its probably more like 30 miles if you go up to 52 to make the trip to I-75 but one doesnt necessarily have to drive all the way to I-75 to find better areas to live than whats offered along US-19 maybe as far as Suncoast Parkway would be as far as one would need to go to find a better quality residential area..,Its also not much of a commute to NPR from eastern Pasco compared to the many who drive all the way to Tampa everyday..
