Can anyone recommend a tire shop in Brandon where I can get a tire patched Saturday afternoon or Sunday morning? I know there are a few big chains in the area, but I haven't had much luck with them. When I've taken tires to chains in the past with slow leaks they tell me they can't be patched and try to sell me a new tire at an outrageous price. Had a really good tire guy where I used to live but not sure down here in Brandon.

That's about as cheap as you're going to get. I remember not long ago (maybe ten years) a patch job was free at many shops.

Yeah and shoddy craftsmanship too. Avoid walmart like the plague that it is.

Olin Mott is a local business and reputable. While I suspect they would attempt to sell you a new tire, I have no doubt they could plug an existing one as long as the puncture is in the tread, and not the sidewall.

If the puncture is not in the tread area, it's not repairable. If a tire shop tells you it is, RUN!
