Were moving to Tampa in a week and are excited that we can take cruises at the last minute with out air fair. Ive heard you can do this with about a weeks notice and get on a cruise ship for about 30 dollars a night. Is that true and where do you find these deals? Travel Agents? Cruise line directly?

Is it best to Leave our of Miami all things considered or Other ports?

Since we signed up to take one, I get bombarded with e-mails for cruises. I go a website first get a price, then call a travel agent and see what the best price is.

The main ports are Port Canaveral, Tampa, and FT Lauderdale. I always ask myself the following:
How long do I want to go for?
What do I want to see?

And take it from there. I like departing in Tampa because I live here and that makes it easy.

Watch out for those real cheap cruises. A lot of the time they go to 2 ports and 1port will be on Sunday when everything is closed. If you like just being on the ship its no big deal. A friend of mine went on a 3 day one and the ship pulled into port on Sunday and then the next day went to co co cay and the weather was bad. He said he should of just stayed home.
