Hi. I am aware of the negatives posted about the new port richey area, but I am going to working in the area. I am looking for a short term unfurnished rental in the area, no farther than 25 minutes from Little and Ridge rd.. Schools are not an issue. It can be in an over 55 community. I have a 65 lb dog. The area needs to be safe. Rental under 1200 a month. Any suggestions are appreciated. thank you.

Start in trinity and move north from there. Staying East of Little Rd would be your best bet as you go north from Trinity.

I'd definitely go with a 55+. You can get a nice place at a low price point and not worry about the issues that come with low prices in regular neighborhoods.

I agree. Stay well away from the older 2dedroom hoods around US19.
