Down here, we don't have that problem - it's been nice and quiet each night this week with NO illegal fireworks being shot off near our house. We went to the Safety Harbor parade, had a nice BBQ with a bunch of our new neighbors today, and are going to hook up with a bunch of people down at the marina for Safety Harbor's fireworks display in a bit, provided the weather holds out. It's been a great 4th so far!

By the way, my Spring Hill friends are complaining that the Spring Hill fireworks display that was supposed to happen got cancelled. What happened? It's a shame Weeki Wachee doesn't do a display any more.
It's a redneck thing. In west Pasco it's so bad it would make the Iraq war blush, people that can't afford a pot to pee in spends 1000's on fireworks.

Chaz if you dont like fireworks you will probably be having a rough night tonight.
I remember spending a New years eve in SpringHill a few years ago and it was basically nonstop fireworks from 7pm till well after midnight.Started off with the occasional pop or bang but by 11pm it was quite noisy

You could always move to Mexico or Canada if you don't like it...

They don't bother me that much. I just call a unit out and lets the cops deal with it.

I wonder if people called the cops on July 4, 1776?

The Aripeka bridge is usually a pretty good time.

I don't think we had a redneck problem back then and west Pasco was great in 1976 since there was no west Pasco.
