Looked at another way its all about people breaking traffic laws and making it real easy for the local government to be laughing all the way to the bank.

Got to be more to it than the local law just arbitrarily deciding to write you a ticket for no apparent reason..You still havent told us what the ticket was for..

I'll bet that if the car hadn't been moved in many months that it's a real POS. Probably had flat tires a layer of dust, etc. This is obvious because the OP continues to avoid the questions asked. I for one am glad to see the city ticket eyesores that are left on the street for months. You want to leave a car in the same spot for months? Park it on your own property.

Not avoiding. Just got busy. The ticket is $30. The car is a 2010 Honda civic and is moved daily. The sig. Says no parking but there are multiple driveways between my house and the sign and cars line the street nightly. It's in a nice area (Hyde park) and the neighbors are just as surprised and upset as I was. Guess its just one of those things tho. Oh well. Angry no more

If the sign says no parking, then it means no parking.
