We have 3 daughters (13, 11, and 9). We are moving to the Tampa area and are trying to decide on Palm Harbor University High or East Lake HS. We want safe, friendly school where our daughters can have a great experience. (2 are cheerleaders and 1 plays LaX).

I am plannign on a move in a couple years and am also considering those two-in addition to Countryside...the two above seem very good so either one should be a good choice.

If any of your kids are interested in IB or Medical then Palm Harbor would be your choice...otherwise Eastlake is just as good!

What area are you moving to? That would tell you what schools. This year unless your child is in Magnet, or grandfathered in then they must attend their zoned school. Both PHUHS & East Lake are great! Countryside is good also, but like I said no choice! I live on Tampa rd & my son attends PHUHS, And his friend lives on Curlew Rd & attends Countryside.

Best of luck to you, all those schools are great!
