Hello Everyone!! I moved here from Pensacola and in Pensacola we had a couple different bar/restaurants that were on the beach and had playgrounds at them or right next to them. It was fantastic for us parents to sit at the outdoor restaurant, have some drinks and appetizers and chat while our young (ages 2-5) kids could play on the beach and playground within our eyesight. Any places down here like that? I see playground near the beach, but no bar or restaurant near them, or bars and restaurants on the beach but no kids areas around them. This is a family vacation spot I cant imagine there not being any places like this here.

Cant think of a bar with a playground on the beach in the St Pete area, why not just bring a case of beer to the beach and use the beach as the playground?

In Clearwater there is a bar at the back of the Hilton which is right on the beach, the play park is nearby, but not really within eye sight. In Ruskin there is Ruskin Florida Hotel near Tampa - Resort and Club at Little Harbor which has a little bar on the beach.
