I tried to find something specific on Dunedin, but didnt find too much.

Is it a nice place for a family? From what I've read, it seems like it is.

Nice area, safe, good schools, etc... Any info is greatly appreciated. I know the median age is like mid-50's, which is ok. We are in our early 30's, but safety, good schools, etc is what we're after...

Dunedin has a great downtown. If I moved to North Pinellas, Dunedin or Safety Harbor would be my only considerations.

May be the border to Pasco? That's is not as good as say Palm Harbor, Dunedin, Countryside of Clearwater or Safety Harbor, if you ask me.

Not at all-I like downtowns and Dunedin and Safety Harbor have two of the best, especially for their size. Clearwater's downtown is pretty much non-existent and what is there feels forced and planned and just kind of fake. Clearwater Beach is like that, too.
That being said, Clearwater is a safe community and seems to care about their citizens and visitors.

Dunedin is a very nice area and a lot of people who come here are surprised by it. The Dunedin Chamber of Commerce has a site with info on it including upcoming events (Welcome to the Dunedin Chamber Of Commerce located in Downtown Dunedin Florida- Dunedin, Fl) and during the winter/spring months especially they have a lot of events like craft fairs, a wine and blues festival, a Christmas parade and boat parade, a mardi gras celebration, etc.

2 other areas that are good is Palm Harbor and the East Lake area. They are probably the best for schools all the way thru high school and have a lot of very nice communities that are clean and safe. No beach areas and no downtown like Dunedin, but you aren't far from either the beaches or downtown Dunedin.

I'd add those to Dunedin and Safety Harbor.
