I am looking for some general info on this area.
- Is this a highly desirable area ?
- Where is the nearest public beach?
- Where is the nearest shopping center?
- Why are the condo's prices varies in wide range low 100Ks - high 200K in the buildings near the Causeway bridge?

Thanks

Yes it's a great area. The bluffs is different from Belleair Beach. You are never far from the beach in this area. Largo Mall is probably the closest. The causeway bridge has many over 55 condos and they are always cheaper.
Hope that helps

Belleair Bluff
LOL, the terrain is flat as a pancake. There are no bluffs, canyons, or even hills anywhere near here.

It is a desirable area.
Next to Belleair, which is very upscale.
Closest shopping area is Largo Mall which has Bealls, Target, Albertsons and others.

It is nice there. Also some condos have water views of bay which are great, some are actually tucked in behind shopping area at Belleair and have no views, but v safe area, good local shops too, and dining - E and E steakout, Bonefish, another steak chain, forgot the name, a little french place, panera bread, a choclatier, health food, upscale coffee place, fine jeweler, banks, supermarket, gas stations etc. AS other posters say, nearest mall is Largo. What is nice about this place is that it is accessible to beach by the new bridge which is very popular with keepfitters, who walk or jog or bike it, it is very high in middle so hard work both ways! It is set up on a bluff, so out of flood zone by a long way. Not good for schools but you dont sound like you are looking for those?

Thanks for the replies.
It sounds like an ideal area for snowbirds who don't drive much.
I am looking for an investment/vacation property so school is not a main consideration. I really like the condos with water view, but from my research, they don't sound like good investment at all (high fees).

if you are looking for short term rental property then you have to be close to the beaches, most of the rest is residential zoned with at least 30 days, mostly 90 and some are 365 plus HOAs override in some cases.

If you are looking for annual leases there is more choice. Dependson what you call high fees, someone has to pay for insurance/usually cable/water/trash/maintenance/grounds/roof/exterior/reserves/etc nearer to water higher costs due to ins often.

Actually there are little "hills" but Belleair Bluffs is on a bluff and is the highest coastline elevation around the state and up the east coast for quite a distance. Residents like the no evacuation zone and no flood zone.
