Very true!

Thanks for the suggestions everyone! We found something to do just for a couple hours and outside... a segway tour! I wanted something outside and the big cat thing looked cool, but would probably scare the crap out of me in person

I've lived here for two years and have been wanting to do some sort of Downtown Segway Tour along with a St. Pete Tour. Hopefully once my wife gets better we can do it this winter.

Let us know how your tour went and provide details!

If you hook up with groupon or livingsocial, they offer deals for the segway tour from time to time. Glad you enjoyed it.

I've been looking tirelessly for good deals. I hit it with Busch Gardens if you don't already have accomodations- If you use the Busch Garden website to buy your tix and room, you can get a nice room on Clearwater Beach, St. Pete Beach & there are other deals near the park. I found with a one night accomodation after the purchase of the tix were nearly free at the Holiday Inn on Clearwater Beach and the Hyatt was reduced to $150.00 a night which was being advertised on priceline for 275.00..additionally, this comes with a meal wrist band that covers your food and drinks for the day...check it out....& you can use the tix for 14 days straight, so you could do two half days.
