Thankfully there are people already working to stop this. When is our government finally going to learn they DO NOT control us. GMO's proven to be dangerous, where is the label? Fluoride causes health issues, why put it back?

Pinellas county water isn't fit to drink anyway, it is full of chloramines, that's Chlorine and Ammonia (both poisons). Wash you car with it, but don't drink it.
Crazy was removing it in the first place...

Tea Baggers got theirs!!!

Try understanding science and reading up on the subject--you are absolutely wrong.

It's scary how much anti-science craziness there is out there.

It tends to be a vocal minority that opposes fluoride, despite the proven benefits. The majority is obviously more educated on the subject, just maybe not as vocal about it. I tend to just shake my head when someone talks nonsense, but I'm glad to see these posts pushing back on the silliness that anti-fluoride folks are touting.

If you look up "teabagger" in the dictionary, Uneducated is in the description. Followed by selfish and a few more choice words

Most people seem pleased that flourine has been added back into the water. Bear in mind most of the levels of flourine in the water supply are already too high. Also, some other nice chemicals are in most water supplies like chlorine and bromine. All three are proven very damaging to the thyroid gland over time.

I've heard the thyroid claims. Once again, please share the peer reviewed studies backing this. And keep in mind it's fluoride we're referring to.

Wow some of you folks are totally brainwashed (too much fluoride, maybe?). For decades it has been known to have negative effects on the body and brain. It was used in WWII to keep the people in Germany passive. The stuff is nasty for the body.

Here is a recent study.
Impact of Fluoride on Neurological Development in Children - July 25, 2012 -Features - News at HSPH - Harvard School of Public Health
Stop believing everything the government tells you. They are caught lying daily, yet some people will fall for anything they say regardless of the facts that prove they are not being honest. Fluoride has no benefits being added to our water. It does have negative effect though. Just read the back of your toothpaste tube. Look at the ingrediants in RAT POISON.

Saccharin was once thought to be completely safe, only to later discover it causes cancer. Aspartame replaced it and now 30 years later (or thereabouts) we are finding it too causes major health issues.

If people want fluoride in their water, it should be administered at their meters, not in everyones.

Thank you for proving my point. I just read the study and, yes, it found issues with children that had been exposed to megadoses of flouride.

That is not the issue being discussed. Everything in large doses is pretty bad for you.

Read my earlier post -- if I drink 50 gallons of (flourideless, even) water a day, I would die.

Is that really the best you can do?
