^ Yea, that's gonna do wonders for traffic

They had talked about changing the roads from one-way to two-way for years, even back before I lived in Tampa Heights years ago. I think they are going to totally **** it up for the thousands of people that work downtown in favor of the maybe 10's or hundreds of people that will shop downtown.

How ****ed up is that?

And Bob Buckhorn is hardly a visionary, the guy is a moron, a buffoon.

What I always say-- folks around here can't stand change!!! I think it's a good idea, that is what Tampa is lacking, a place for the city folks..not urbanites who move here. they are already opening the roadways, and it will bring more traffic for sure. What he said 10 yrs ago 600 people lived down town and 1/2 were in jail- now 6000 live there, well more to come. Poor of Clearwater that has no downtown, least ST Pete working on a new HUB, by the Pier and if the new stadium is bult in Carrillion... yesss!

I think it's awesome. Buckhorn is an excellent mayor, and IMO, maybe the best Tampa has ever had. I think he is going to bring Tampa up several notches, as he is already doing.

Yea CrazyNip. I can't see what anyone would want to have new businesses, shoppers, people spending thier time and money downtown in Our City either.

Maybe it's time you should think about turning over a new leaf? For a long time I used to just laugh at them as they were blunt, direct, and synical. Now they just look miserable filled with F bombs.

Transformations of downtowns have been a GREAT THING for cities all over the Country. San Antonio, San Diego, Baltimore, heck even Norfolk, Virginia have renewed activity.

I hope they follow through with all this and soon.

They need to make it easier for bars and restaurants to operate downtown. Tax breaks, more liquor licenses, etc... They need to make downtown attractive to business owners and let it happen organically.

What do you do for a living? I'm not being facetious, I really want to know. You seem to have the answers to everything, I'm sure you're a real powerful guy. Maybe you should run for mayor?
