Yep.

I was stationed at Lackland AFB and the warmest weather here in Tampa Bay can't touch it.

San Antonio August Weather 2013 - AccuWeather Forecast for TX 78205

I have lived in multiple states......California, Texas, Massachusetts, etc. Having been in all different types of climates, some cooler/drier and some hotter and just as humid, I always craved to be here in Tampa Bay and have finally done it. To me, the Tampa Bay weather is the absolute best. Hands down. Not even close.

It may be making an appearance next week and the week after Annie.

The meteorologists keep flip flopping on this, but their latest has the ridge of high pressure breaking down and the cold air to the northwest rushing in here.

OK...to me if its not snowing, its not winter. LOL

Plus, I didn't get to wear my parkas, and it was not as cold as it was in Jan of 2010 when it got down to 28F. This was just a taunt at best. I love it.

I'm seeing these around my house, and to me that means the cold season is over!!

Algia> My winter coats have been in a room that I have for that ever since I got here. One of these days I'm getting rid of them......

Annie, those winter coats are desperately needed in California right now! Maybe we should take up donations.

So its 15 degrees in Omaha. Any precipitation up north is pretty much guaranteed to kill people....roads get slick, accidents happen, people die with heart attacks shoveling snow. Today, we drove down the islands to Johns Pass, ate at the Friendly Fisherman (outside), walked the boardwalk, shopped. Florida is fabulous.
