Only another month or two and the nice weather will be back. Until then I'm hibernating!

Hope you enjoy near 5 solid months when we are stuck in a reverse west wind flow with lows around 80 and dew points 73+.

I could deal with that, it's just the 24/7 sunshine and no rain for weeks at a time for me every summer i can't deal with.

Too cold for my bones. Today well below the average temp of 72.
So up here in the middle of the country, it was 2 degrees the last couple of mornings. 63-65 would have been considered a major heat wave. Good thing I'm jumping on a plane tomorrow to get in on some of that miserable Tampa-style cold weather, swimming laps in the sunshine in a heated pool, walking on the beach, and all those other great winter Florida activities.

Absolute worst time of the summer.....

All day, heavy tropical rain for some.....

No rain at all for others........

Absolutely uncomfortable dew points.

Three nights in a row with the heat on. Enough, already! I'm a Floridian transplanted to Dallas 35 years ago and now I'm back. I've had enough of cold weather!

Anytime we are stuck in a reverse west wind flow people in Lutz and the Brandon area almost always get rain where when i was on the Pasco gulf coast would get almost no rain all summer long.

I hear ya. I was stationed at Lackland AFB, which is one of the places I lived that had high heat and high dewpoints. I lived in other places as well with very high heat and dewpoints. While I prefer not to have triple digit real temps, I have grown to absolutely love higher heat and high dewpoints. The type of weather in the summers here in Tampa Bay are the absolute best, IMO!

Being that I have to wait for this horribly cold weather to go away, I plan on just staying inside and painting the walls of our house a different color. Once it warms up, I will pop back outside. Once it is 80 to 95 degrees, my sweet spot, you won't ever see me inside. I will be outside, other than work, from the time I get up until the time I go to sleep.

I can't stand the dry air we have now either. Our skin is dried out and itchy. We crave the humidity. Our saving grace is that the winter here is so much shorter that other places we have lived.

I can't count down the days until summer fast enough.
