What do you think a woman's crisis center is going to do? They are going to help her get the resources to leave and find her a place to stay if needed. That's what they do...get women and families OUT of abusive or dangerous situations.

They cannot force her to leave, nor can they force someone who is mentally ill to get treatment unless they are an obvious and immediate threat to themselves or someone else. Unsupported allegations that they made threats in the past, combined with the fact that nothing has happened, means it doesn't rise to that level.

People always ask for help and then don't like the advice that they get and in turn don't take it. Sounds like that's what she is doing.

Didn't she know he had this problem in the first place before marrying him??? I don't get why people put themselves in bad situations in the first place and then sit there and complain about it.
