Another reason to maybe choose Palm Harbor (because I have a lot of people msging me actually, telling me to go there) but I will get the ocean breeze I assume to help a little with the really hot/humid days??

Trying to merge onto 495 is like playing chicken and you sure as heck better floor it to squeak onto it or you could cause a 30 car pile up from everyone refusing to slow down to let you in, so if you jump on going 45 everyone will slam on their brakes and well god only knows what could happen...but again I can handle it no problem, more of a nuisance than anything..I appreciate all of the in detail responses I am getting I feel like I am learning so much form you guys...one question though WHERE ARE THE DUNKIN DONUTS AROUND THERE???!!!! Lol, I need daily doses of Dunkin Donuts turbo iced coffee to survive the day or that hot sun may prevent me from getting anything accomplished
Nah...nothing like 495...(we drive to DC every year), there are too many side roads/streets to compare it with that road...it is more like that road in Reston by where all the tall hotels and condo buildings are...and there are some gray looking apartment buildings...Its a 6 lane road...4 lanes at some point...

The trick with 19 is to KNOW where you go before getting on it, and not switching lanes for no apparent reason, OR by being surprised the "lane ends". I know where I am going, and I stay on what side of the road my exit will be on. As in not sit in the left lane to turn right and have to cross 6 lanes to do that. That's retarded, yet many do it all over the place here. Be warned.

Here's two of them on the map below...one on 19 (LOL), and the other is right on alderman...a lot of Dunkin can be found at Hess Stations too, and there's a Hess station on Alderman & 19...take your pick! LOL

Awesome THANK YOU!!! But as far as the 495 thing, idk how it is in DC I only know how it is in MA going to the Cape or going to NH....And it is pretty crazy...but again mostly at commuting times like 7-9 am and 3-8pm and there is always never ending road work being down which shuts down a cpl lanes making it an even MORE of a p.i.t.a. (pain in the @ss)

Now back to Palm Harbor...those who Live within the boundaries of Palm Harbor are not going to take McMullen Booth to go to Publix or Walmart. So in the name of being "Specific" Let's be specific.
WOW!

I thought you knew more about the area than you do, considering the maps and all.

I do in fact live in Palm Harbor and we are on the east side of Lake Tarpon. 34685

Here is a little lesson for those that do not know where parts of Palm Harbor actually are, which is creating inaccurate posts:

I think it is at its worst in DC! JMO there is no downtime on it ever...we found ourselves on it at various times/days of the week and it is just insane!

Also, here is another map....so the OP "actually" finds out where Palm Harbor is:

//www.city-data.com/zipmaps/Pal...r-Florida.html

Please note there are THREE zip codes in Palm Harbor. Two to the west of the lake and one to the east.

34683
34684
34685

34685 is the one which provides superior access to things, while being able to most avoid 19, which again is why we chose it.

Use Map Quest and choose to highlight PH, then look at the boundary. The East Lake/Palm Harbor border has been hashed out long ago...
Call the city and tell them to either make East Lake an actual city, or tell them to incorporate it in PH already!

East Lake, Pinellas County, Florida - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

East Lake = 34685

Dude or Dudette, is ALREADY IS in Palm Harbor. I can't believe you are trying to use Google maps to make your case.....LOL.

Our section of Palm Harbor happens to be in the East Lake corridor. It doesn't mean it is not Palm Harbor.

I have provided you with businesses in Palm Harbor and maps showing you it is Palm Harbor.

It is Palm Harbor, whether you want to believe it or not.

I am not going to battle the point with you any further, as it is irrelevant. It is on the map where it is and it is a PERFECT location for the OP to look at, considering what they want.

Dudde: do u see the City Data link above/with map, listing your zip code as East Lake?
Take it with them....IF it was just PH it would have been updated long ago.
