OP: It is best that you don't watch the news in Florida anywhere....they are about cracktown ppl, without careers, or valid jobs, but with a litter of kids, and a lot of stolen guns!!!!! The news are also acted in a pi$$ poor way, (that's national though) and the local NBC station is a disgrace to television from the hosts to the background setting; literally unwatchable...when you come, enjoy the scenery, attractions, and don't bother watching this trash. They have news vans sitting in stand by in all crack town around here, but never talk about anything of value...so to me they're worthless as I have no desire to know and stay current with who shot whom in some cracktown! I have better things to do.
Yeah, that is how it is here too..I wont even watch the news as it is just depressing..waves of bank robberies, murders, sexual predators that get away with absolutely ANYTHING...it is just disheartening !!

I thought you had me on ignore.

Why don't you do this, if you think something I posted was wrong prove otherwise.

I will update numbers now since I went straight to the FBI website, I will provide a link, see if you can prove me wrong.

According to the FBI there were 778,161 missing person incidents in the US in 2008. http://www.fbi.gov/about-us/cjis/ncic/ncic-missing-person-and-unidentified-person-statistics-for-2008/#1
According to this site there were 41,000 or so missing person incidents in Florida in 2009, couldn't find 2008 but doubt it differs by much. http://fmcdf.org/history.html That would put my figures for percentages a little high, looks like Florida is lower.
And according to the FBI, the number of missing person incidents where the entering agency utilized the optional circumstance field, only .07% were listed as abducted by a stranger, 99.07% were runaways. I am glad you questioned this since it made me check further and reinforced what I originally said, in fact the numbers greatly exceeded what I originally posted.
Quote:
The Missing Person Circumstances (MPC) field is optional and has been available since July 1999 when the NCIC 2000 upgrade became operational. Of the 778,161 records entered in 2008, the MPC field was utilized in 306,657 (39.4 percent). When the MPC field was utilized in 2008 entries, 303,798 (99.07 percent) were coded as Runaway, 2,659 (0.87 percent) as Abducted by Non-Custodial Parent, and 200 (0.07 percent) as Abducted by Stranger. For entry year 2007, the MPC field was utilized in 303,224 (37.2 percent) of the 814,957 records.
What do you have? Prove me wrong! Once again you can't because I post facts, you post ridiculous stereotypes and hyperbole.

I want you to show where I ever tried to say that nothing bad happens in Florida. Once again you can't. This is just part of the ridiculousness of your posts.
