But it's pushing out the little guy and creating an artificial bubble in housing prices. A few years down the road when these companies start to unload their properties, home prices are going to fall again. Combine that with stagnant wages and a very likely increase in mortgage interest rates by that time, and you have another blowout of depressed real estate, empty foreclosures, and no buyers.

The market is sizzling here.

Kash, on a serious note though I will be careful about jumping into a real estate even with the 10% YOY price appreciation in Tampa for February according to Case-Shiller index.

Yay! Got a job offer. Finished the negotiations today and should be starting June 3rd. It's not in Real Estate, but in IT.... where I have my experience.

Started out as a Contract to Perm after a few months, but instead they decided to go straight to Perm. Very different type of company than I have worked for before, seems interesting and will be challenging.

Phew... hopefully I'll be with these guys for many years to come. Commute isn't too bad either.

Well done and congratulations.
Frankly, it was never in doubt. Your perseverence and optimism is clear and I'm not surprised an employer decided to take you on.
A salient lesson to all those naysayers with a gloomy outlook on Florida life.
I hope you gonna be out celebrating !
