My job requires me to be near an airport for weekly travel M-F. Is there anyone who lives in the Grand Hampton area that does the same that could give me an idea of what kind of travels I can expect going to the airport monday mornning from this area? I'm expecting to leaving home 2 hrs before a flight is scheduled for take off - is that reasonable?

Thanks!

Is this community locates on the county line between Pasco and Hillcborough? If so, then...

What do you consider morning? (I know few people sho think 10am is an early morning ) If it's before 7 am it might takes you about 45 minutes, if it's between 7 and 9 - 90 minutes (we will sit in your car with 5mph speed on I-275)

30 min. commute if you are not during the peek hours. Otherwise it will take you an hour. There are many detours that you can take and it never took me longer than one hour.

You can take St. Rd 56 to I-75 to I-275 and if there is a traffic jam you can take almost all exits on I -275 and take a back road.

When I-275 is completed everything should be way better but some dumb drivers don't understand to keep distance and how a left exit works and due to the people who want to take I-4 at the last moment to cut off everybody an staying in the other lane, they are the ones who are A$$ because they are a huge cause for all traffic jams...sorry

You can also go the back roads, County Line to the Suncoast to the airport exit.

In 90 minutes from Grand Hampton you can be at the Orlando Airport!

Take County Line to Dale Mabry, then South to the SunCoast. 45 mins to an hour during peak traffic

Someone is defenetly not driving from Grand Hampton to Airport on regular basis during pick hours LOL

It will takes like 15 minutes to got to I-275 due to morning traffic (all Seven Oaks and Meadow Point residents going that way as well). Then if you take I-275, you will be in bumper to bumper from Fletcher-Fowler exit to Downtown or even to Airport exit.

I have been driving during peak hours to St. Pete multiple times and I can get to St. Pete in 1.5 hr the most coming from Wesley Chapel and further than Grand Hampton and the airport is closer by than St. Pete where I had to be.

The great thing is that there are so many other ways that some alreayd have described as well as myself but you can also drive down Nebraska or Floribraska, Fowler, Fletcher, Hillsborough, MLK and Dale Mabry...so in case of an accident that is not just one other option but plenty.

To get to alternative routes you still need to take SR 56 to I-275 and I-275. Driving to toll road or to Dale Mabry takes even more time.
I am communiting from the same area in the same direction on daily basis and know about traffic well enough.

I did it every M-F for two year. 45 minutes from Grand Hampton to the airport via I-275 in low traffic and up to an hour in heavy traffic.
