Good gawd, that's crazy and thanks for the head's up!

And I heard on the news this morning about honey being imported from China containing illegal antibiotics and being mislabeled before being sold.

Tomorrow will be something else.

I am not surprised...we buy honey from local producers generally...

I think there is no quality control done BEFORE food items hit the shelves and that needs to change soon. This is not acceptable...I mean GLASS? what did they do? got drunk at work and threw bottles at the cereal boxes?

That is sooooo bad; that is the cereal I eat. And I take it out and put in a plastic cereal container, so I don't have the box to check.
These things usually go back to an unhappy employee, and it does do harm to the company.

Now you'll have to sift them...LOL

I thought these larger companies had machines do all their work...when they show on those shows how different products are made, food is usually on a large belt going on and on and on...so it looks really automated...do they not monitor their employees? I would think that those who handle food would be super monitored to avoid such incidents.

Were these only at Publix supermarkets?
I couldn't find anything in the story about Publix.

Not just, we got one there that had that UPC code....

Annie can edit the title, I think they were pretty much anywhere they sell these...

I wonder what would happen if someone already eat them?

Consumers should check cupboards for boxes of Special K Red Berries cereal.

I checked Publix's website and they didn't have a recall listed.

Yes, I buy honey "locally" too. Ever since my visit to Tallahassee, I am hooked on the Tupelo honey. It does NOT crystallize and it is really good. I bought however many bottles that could fit in one of those Iif it fits, it ships" boxes to bring back for friends and now I buy from a maker in Crawfordville.
