Good schools and cheap rent don't go hand in hand here, nor does proximity to any beaches

No, I get it...it is a bit far fetched just curious of areas that might not be the BEST place to live with kids but certainly not the worst area either a middle ground if you will. Thanks anyway though. Oh and AGAIN wasn't looking for an actual 'home' just an opinion on areas that were like what I mentioned above.

they can get sorta mean cant they?? stay away from the older crowds around here,,, they don't like anything, I know I've moved around, and if my grands can't feel comfortable,,, neither can I. They moved away from the area all together- schools were ok in Pinellas but- not neighbors..they never had anyone to play with after they got home... No community, for youngsters.. Now they near orlando,,, and pool parties etc.

the " elders" My grands moved away from Pinellas because it's "kid poor" in most neighborhoods. I have given up on it and moving to a location in Tampa. Pinellas though prettier ( reminds me of home) is a huge retirement area. They come n they overrun the place n then they go-- what was it 6 schools they closed down in this county few years back? NOT kid friendly. unless you have $$$ to pay for the sports etc. I work with the public and read the comments and blogs,,, mean n closed minded not wanting change, that's is my experience in general.
