agrady, of course I don't know your situation, if you'll have family with you or what, but my advice to most people is to first rent when moving to a new area, it gives you a chance to find out more about commute times, neighborhoods, etc. I know most people prefer to buy if they can, because they don't want to move twice, but really, renting and scoping things out can save a lot of heartache and $$. Especially when you have a new gig, you never know what can happen. Just my 2 cents, FWIW.

Lithia requires a lot of driving through stop-go, traffic lights, SR60 is a pain.

You might also look at areas out by Wimauma/Riverview/Balm - distance might seem far, but it is mostly interstate, expressway, and US 301.

"I would suggest the Plant City area also. That is just east of Ybor, probably not more than 10 or 15 minutes drive depending on point-to-point."

Really? Lol, I must drive like a real ninny. Seems like it takes everyone else much less time to get from one place to another around here than me.

You're exactly right. I will rent at first. Just getting a feel for the place.
