Hi!
My husband and I are moving to Dunedin in May - we've rented an apartment. We are in our late 30's w/no children. We're not big into partying - love coffeehouses, pubs, going out to dinner, beaches...

I keep reading that Dunedin is for the retired crowd...is this true? Seems like a beautiful, quaint busy little town, right on the ocean - seems too good to be true.
We're really looking forward to living in Dunedin - just curious...

Thanks!!

As with all towns, cities, etc. it also depends on which subdivision your home is located in. Sounds like Dunedin is a perfect fit for you and I am sure you will enjoy it. You should look forward to living in Dunedin. Has a very cute downtown and they have community events frequently.

You will love it there or downtown St Pete, which has so much going on, but maybe more busy/expensive to live in.
good luck to you both

You will love Dunedin...plenty of community events in downtown...beautiful beach and many places to eat...also not that far from airport and Tampa. Another really charming place is the Old North East section of St.Pete, there you have ten times the amount of things to do(galleries, restaurants,Rays etc) and it is really charming with older character homes and a young vibe!

Yes, there are lots or retirees here in the winter, but the downtown is very vibrant and the age mix that's out and about in the bars and restaurants is a very mixed one. I'm sure you'll love it.
