For the love of God, I said, and I quote:

Quote:
Florida is a "right to work" state as well as an "at-will" state, meaning they can work you as many hours as they want, and/or can fire you for no reason whatsoever.
I did not say "Florida is a "right to work state", they can fire you for whatever reason." I said that It's a right to work state as well as an at-will state, meaning they can work you whatever they want and fire you for no reason.

Thus, it's a right to work state, you don't have unions guaranteeing you hours like they do in northern states, and it's an at-will state, meaning they can fire you for any reason that they see fit (obviously not for religious, sexual, or racial reasons.)

People like to pick fights on these forums for no reason it appears?

No problem. A whole bunch of folks believe right to work has something to do with ending employment, not beginning it.

24 states are right to work states. Michigan just passed its right to work law. PA may be on its way to a RTW state.

Unions are a rip off for most employees.

Oh. And ALL states, except one, are "employment at will states".

I agree, I've been a union worker before and found that I paid over $600/year for virtually nothing!
