We have found the best variety of phenomenal pizza here.

We have been extremely disappointed in the quality of Chinese food here.

Haven't tried clams here yet.

YMMV!

This makes me happy

I'm one of those who, even if something gets a bad review, I will still give it my own fair shot so I'll be coming down with an open mind...and palate lol

It's a hike for me, but I'll take a long-ish lunch and drive up sometime this week or next. Will report back...

Names? The ones that have been to and liked(in Pinellas) are Cristinos's in CLW, Slyce on Indian Rocks Beach(they do Chicago style pizza too), Mario's (NY style) and Mike's on Walsingham/Largo, Britt's Pizza in Treasure Island, Queen's Pizza by Countryside, also Grimaldi's is pretty good(Countryside Mall), Gondolier Pizza/CLW Beach, Anthony's Coal Fire pizza(on McMullen Booth Rd, CLW), DeLosa's(NY style)/John's Pass and Pizza Uno in Orlando(by downtown Disney). INMO, all of these make good pizza.

My favorite is CiCi's though... *just kidding*

The "taste of philly" line cracks me up, but it's really not. It is a step forward from the national chains, though; probably the best place that delivers to my house or office. Just doesn't scratch me where I itch. Looking forward to trying some of the other places posted in this thread.

Cappy's is pretty decent, NY, NY pizza in Ybor (although it could be because I am pretty buzzed everytime I eat there). In general I think bad pizza its a nationwide phenomenon, all these restaurants get their ingredients from sysco. I remember I could go to any pizza place in NYC and it would be good pizza maybe not mind blowing good but good, now unless you know the place you can get some pretty crappy pizza.
