Nice!

My first sampling of fish tacos was at Rubios in San Diego and from there, I'm always on the lookout for a good fish taco. It took a very long time for the Northeast to catch on but it's finally becoming a regular at alot of restaurants.

I have a recorded show featuring Taco Bus that I've yet to watch but have heard good things about that place.

Anyway, I just printed out the Tribune's list for future eatings.

Vallarta's on Dale Mabry. You also get unlimited soup from their "salad bar". Makes for a cheap and very filling meal. Their soup is amazingly delicious. The tacos aren't anything special but tacos are 99 cents and have a lot of meat. Soft tacos are $1.29 I believe. Two and the soup will fill you up.

Acapulco Mexican Grocery is magical. Authentic tacos filled with flavor and zero frills, just meat, tortillas, cilantro/onion/lime. It's not for everyone, in the sense that English may not get you through and it's a few dumpy-looking tables in the back of a grocery store. But they're friendly, they keep those dumpy-looking tables clean and its CHEAP. I'm there once a month or so.

That is the only way to order a taco. Some salsa verde to spoon on top and an ice cold beer and I'm in heaven.
